Here are some allergy remedies that may help alleviate your allergy symptoms.

These popular allergy treatments are taken from a number of sources on the Internet such as mailing lists, message boards, blogs, and web pages. Plus, they are of little cost to you to make.

  • 1) Mix one teaspoon of vinegar with one teaspoon of honey into water. Drink it all at once.
  • 2) Peppermint tea may help. Place one-half pound of dried Peppermint leaves into a one-quart jar. Fill two-thirds of the jar with boiling water and let steep for five minutes. Let cool, strain the tea, and sweeten to taste.
  • 3) Goldenrod’s leaves and flowers are considered to have antiseptic qualities. Drinking three or four cups each day of a tea made from the leaves of this flower, may help.
  • 4) Eating bananas is thought to have anti-allergic properties.
  • 5) In one eight-ounce glass of water, mix two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar. Drink either hot or cold.
  • 6) A tea made from Elderflower may help with inflammation of the throat and nasal congestion. You may also gargle it for relief from a sore throat.
  • 7) The herb licorice root is thought to help build up an immunity to allergens. Mix three ounces of cut licorice root with one quart of water. Then boil it for ten minutes, strain and drink one tablespoon before every meal for one week.
  • 8) Add one teaspoon of honey to the juice from 1/2 a lemon to a cup of warm water. Drinking this every day will help flush the body of toxins.
  • 9) Add some honey to lemon juice mixed with boiled, minced, grapefruit. Drink this solution three times each day.
  • 10) The last of our remedies is the supplement MSM, or organic sulfur, found at health stores. Try one teaspoon each day for two weeks before the start of allergy season. Adjust the dose if necessary.
